2027: Projected2027 numbers are projections from Bloomberg Tax and Thomson Reuters, based on the inflation data the IRS uses. The IRS usually publishes the official 2027 numbers in October or early November. We'll switch to the official numbers the day they're out.

Brackets by filing status

Rates stay the same (10% to 37%); the income ranges move up with inflation. Brackets apply to taxable income: your income after the standard deduction.

Filing your return in early 2027? That's tax year 2026: use the 2026 column. The 2027 numbers are for income you earn during 2027, filed in early 2028. Your paychecks start using them in January 2027.
